I am doing some research on permanent roaming regulations globally relating to M2M. It is my understanding that China, India, and Brazil all have bans on permanent roaming, but I am hoping to get more details on these regulations (i.e. why they were passed, how they are enforced, etc.) and also if any other countries currently have bans in place.
The ask is time sensitive so any responses/direction to helpful literature would be very very much appreciated. Google doesn't seem to be leading to much!
Thanks so much everyone.
Hi Dee - I came across an old thread here (http://m2m.com/message/1048#1048) that raises some interesting points about costs of signalling and most roaming agreements being bi-lateral so it's likely to be dependent on the specific operators.
