Ericsson Modules

Newbie

I  notice  that Ericsson is launching new m2m modules targetted at the consumer electronics segment. Has anyone  experience of these modules or any knowledge on what they  have  for those developing consumer electronics applications.

    Alan,

Yes, they are making their way into the US marketplace. They have 3 modules currently PTCRB Certified (this is something you want to ensure if you're building a device for US/Canada): F3507g, F3607gw, and F3307. All three support both GSM/GPRS/EGPRS as well as WCDMA (3G).
